Tasleem is a Mechanical Engineering major pursuing a certificate in Aerospace Engineering, with an expected graduation in May 2027. Through his involvement with UGA’s Design-Build-Fly team and his growing experience in robotics and advanced machining, he has built a strong foundation in CAD modeling, aerodynamics, CNC programming, and system-level design. Within DBF, he serves as the Mechanisms Lead while also contributing as a member of the Aerodynamics Team, giving him direct experience in both structural payload systems and aerodynamic performance optimization. These roles have strengthened not only his technical skills but also his leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Beyond DBF, Tasleem has been expanding his skill set through robotics work, hands-on CNC machining projects, and his recent involvement with the UGA Small Satellite Research Laboratory (SSRL), where he is beginning to apply his engineering background to the challenges of space systems. After completing his undergraduate degree, he plans to pursue graduate studies in aerospace engineering with a focus on propulsion, robotics, and control systems. His ultimate goal is to design advanced rocket and space technologies, contributing to the future of exploration beyond Earth.
