Who We Are

Started in 20XX by students in Athens, Georgia, the Center for Research, Engineering, and Technological Exploration offers more than a typical research lab. For students, CREATE gives all engineering disciplines an opportunity to turn lessons from the classroom into practical experiences. For clients, CREATE relieves your employees of the hassle of complex engineering tasks. Whether you are a student hoping to refine your skills, a research group desiring to redistribute the load, or a new start-up looking to develop a concept, CREATE Labs and its 14 members stand to tackle the toughest engineering challenges.

How We Work

The beauty of CREATE stems from the structure of how we work. Projects serve as collaborative fronts between students at all levels, cultivating an environment for students to grow their analytical skills under the guidance of those more experienced. From 3D printing to CNC machining, CREATE ensures the passage of knowledge among the student body through in-house projects and hands-on training. Currently, we are capable of additive & subtractive manufacturing, mechanical design, standard & ML coding, and basic electrical engineering. For clients in and outside of the university, CREATE operates as a “consulting” design firm for the early stages of product development. We take pride in handling engineering problems in all fields for our many satisfied clients and look forward to tackling the diverse challenges that lie ahead.
