Hailey Heckmann

Hailey is a Computer Systems Engineering major pursuing a certificate in Aerospace Engineering, with an expected graduation in May 2027. Through her involvement with CREATE, she has developed and expanded key skills in leadership, coding, 3D modeling and printing, electrical wiring and soldering, and team communication. Her responsibilities include team coordination, electrical and software consulting work, marketing, employee training, and maintaining this website. She also plays a leading role in the Lab.

Some of the projects she has contributed to include the Light-Bar Reaction Test, the plant watering system, a series of 3D printing initiatives, and the Heated Sleeve project. This website was put together by her. Using ghost and a lot of HTML5 code injection, she aims to upscale the CREATE Labs brand so it can reach its fullest potential! After completing her undergraduate degree, Hailey plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. Her ultimate career goal is to work on the computing systems that power space exploration and launch rockets into space.
