Jin is a Computer Science major at the University of Georgia, with an expected graduation in Spring 2027. Through his coursework and personal projects, he has developed key skills in Java programming, object-oriented design, algorithm development, and technical troubleshooting. He is actively building experience in network fundamentals, system configuration, and Linux-based environments as part of his ongoing exploration into cybersecurity. His responsibilities across various roles and internships have included software development, documentation, collaborative team communication, and hands-on system testing.

Some of the projects he has contributed to include BioSecurity Farm, an application designed to assess farm biosecurity scores; a biometric monitoring system leveraging embedded sensors; and multiple course-based applications developed in Java, C, and Arduino. He is currently deepening his understanding of topics like threat detection, system hardening, and secure coding practices. After completing his undergraduate degree, Jin plans to pursue a career in cybersecurity or network systems—driven by a passion for protecting digital infrastructure and creating secure, practical solutions for real-world use.
